I was scared. My mom hung up the phone with force and I jumped in the car with her as we rushed to the hospital. My 40 year old cousin’s heart had stopped. I remember witnessing my mom asking a lot of questions and arguing with the doctors in the hallway, she was crying. I remember feeling scared and frustrated that the medical team did not seem to be listening.
